We understand the importance of a comfortable, machine washable and durable cycle cap.
Our prototypes were tried and tested by local bike couriers; enduring life in a messenger bag, four seasons in one day and being washed.
These early cycle caps were bought as prizes for scavenger hunts and alleycat races…
Alleyhats for Alleycats!
Each cap is designed, made and hand finished by Kate; a costume maker and tailor by trade, who loves exploring the local South Downs on her bike.
As an advocate of slow fashion, she always makes in small batches in order to avoid the wastage that occurs when bulk buying or over producing.
Our cycling cap range now offers:
6 sizes (from 48cm to 64cm) and 3 styles: our classic summer cycle cap, a winter cycling cap and ‘The Grafter’ workwear cap for off the bike.
